PCB Repair FAQs

Can you repair a board that Ninja Circuits didn't originally build?

Yes. We repair and rework assemblies regardless of who built them. If you have a damaged or underperforming board, send it our way and our technicians will assess what it needs.

What types of issues can you fix?

We handle a wide range of repair work including component removal and replacement, IC swaps, solder joint rework, assembly damage repair, and design modifications to bring a board up to updated specifications.

How do you diagnose what's wrong with a board?

We use X-ray inspection to identify hidden issues like BGA solder failures, cold joints, or internal damage that aren't visible to the naked eye. This lets us pinpoint the problem accurately before any rework begins.

Can you upgrade an existing design rather than just repair it?

Absolutely. If your product needs to meet new requirements, we can modify your current assembly accordingly. Whether that's swapping out obsolete components, adding functionality, or reworking the layout, Ninja has the skills and equipment to get it done.

Is there a minimum number of boards required for repair work?

No. We work with customers on single-board repairs just as readily as larger batches. If you have one board that needs attention, that's enough to get started.
